Where can I set my preferred language in Confluence?

Set your preferred language in your user settings.
Direct link: Atlassian account preferences

Note: This is only possible for users with a Confluence log-in. Anonymous users (without a log-in) or those blocking 3rd-party cookies will see page content based on their browser's language setting.

This is done as follows:

  1. Click on your profile icon in the top right corner. Choose "Settings".

  2. You will see your current language setting.

  3. Click on "Account Preferences".

  4.  Click on the "Language" menu and select a different language. Note that your language setting will also affect Jira and JSM. Your setting will be saved automatically.

  5. Leave the "Account Preferences".

  6. Access any Confluence page that has language macros in place.
If this page has content in the language matching your user language, it will now be displayed to you. You may have to refresh the page for the change to take effect.
