Standard Privacy Mode

This is the default mode when installing Viewtracker for the first time. It collects most information about your Confluence users, including their full name and profile picture. If this is not the desired setting, administrators can choose a more appropriate setting in the Data Privacy.

The Viewtracker data is always stored locally within your database.

Who can see the viewer data?

  • The list of viewers of any page or blog post can be accessed by any Confluence user via the Content Report.

  • The list of most active users/viewers per space or globally can be accessed by space admins and Confluence administrators. These can also grant access to that data to a specific user group.

  • Viewers' names will also appear in the Export files.
