Linchpin Tracking
The apps Linchpin Intranet Suite and Viewtracker - Analytics for Confluence are connected in four powerful ways: Viewtracker can…
track views from the Linchpin Intranet
track views from Linchpin Mobile and filter by them in the Viewtracker reports
track views of Microblog, Enterprise News, Events, and Launchpad in the Confluence URL Reports
establish if a specific blog post has been read or not
Each feature is explained in detail below ⬇️ .
Linchpin is an intranet app by Atlassian Partner //SEIBERT/MEDIA for Confluence Data Center/Server.

Track views from the Linchpin Intranet
Desktop views of Linchpin Intranet pages are tracked by Viewtracker by default. They are accumulated in the source “Desktop”.
Filter the Viewtracker Global or Space Report by clicking in the box Filters → "Filter views by source", selecting "Desktop" and tapping “Apply”.
Track views from Linchpin Mobile
You can track views coming from the Linchpin Mobile App in Viewtracker.
Linchpin Mobile is part of the Linchpin Intranet Suite and can also be installed as a mobile app on Google Play.
Views made from the Linchpin app can be filtered in the Global or Space Report by clicking in the box Filters → "Filter views by source", selecting "Linchpin App" and tapping “Apply”.
The numbers in the “Views” table will adapt accordingly, only displaying views from the selected source.
The filtered data can also be exported and used in other tools.
Notes:
The option “Linchpin App” is only visible in Viewtracker if the Linchpin Intranet Suite is installed in Confluence.
The filter only applies to page views. Edits, page versions etc, are not affected by the filter.
Track views of Microblog, Enterprise News, Events, and Launchpad
When we created the Confluence URL Reports in Viewtracker, we added default entries for the following Linchpin dashboards:
Microblog
Enterprise News (News Hub)
Launchpad
Events (Event Hub)
They are disabled unless a Viewtracker administrator enables the tracking with the toggle. This allows you to track only the metrics relevant to your company.

Blog read notification
Viewtracker can help establish whether a specific blog post has been read or not. This feature works in the apps Linchpin Enterprise News and Linchpin Intranet Suite.

How to enable or disable Linchpin tracking?
Linchpin Mobile: By default, Linchpin is tracked as a source. If this is not desired, an admin can disable “Linchpin Mobile” as a source via a Dark Feature.
Microblog, Enterprise News, Events, and Launchpad: These are default entries in the Confluence URL Reports. They are disabled unless an administrator chooses to enable the tracking.
